Since 1985, Mr. Milner has worked exclusively with building housing for special needs populations utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits for project financing. In addition to housing for families in recovery and veterans, Mr. Milner has helped create housing for the general homeless population, persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses, the visually impaired, mobility impaired, Native Americans, youth aging out of foster care, formerly incarcerated teenagers, persons with AIDS and others. Mr. Milner serves on the Board of the Center for Workforce Inclusion.
Mr. Caringella is a licensed CPA with extensive LIHTC related accounting experience and worked in public accounting for 20 years before joining with Mr. Milner to create Milner and Caringella in 2006. Mr. Caringella held the leadership position for building housing for homeless veterans in Indiana, Michigan, New York State, Maryland and Washington DC. Mr. Caringella served as Board Treasurer for the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans for 11 years.
